Before sending or uploading images, you should make sure that they look decent. Some of them could be too bright, while others may need a higher contrast. If you do not have time to modify images, one by one, you can use a batch editing software and PhotoTrim is a good choice for this task. You can use it to adjust individual or multiple images in a single run. It includes a batch renaming tool as well and you can use it without any difficulties. Regardless of what adjustments you want to make, it will not take long to complete them.

You do not have to install the software. You just have to extract its .exe file from an archive, which is only 82 Kb large. Once extracted, you can run it right away. Although it takes only a few seconds to have the software on your computer, you will need to install .NET Framework 4.0 before anything else.

You can load multiple pictures by selecting their parent folders. The images themselves are displayed in a preview area and you can switch from one to another with Back and Forward buttons. The options beneath the preview allow you to change the brightness and contrast of your pictures, as well as their size. You can see how the adjustments affect the images, in real time, in the preview area.

The new settings can be applied on the currently displayed image or applied on the whole batch. Additional options can be found in the software's Tools menu. They will rotate images 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise, crop them without the background or load them into a MS Word document.

PhotoTrim is capable of renaming pictures as well. The options are located on the same interface, but under a different navigation tab. You will need to add one or more pictures to a list, with the aid of a browsing option, type a new file name pattern and click a button to execute the task. Before renaming the files, you may preview their names in a separate list.

Pros

You can make adjustments to any number of pictures, using a single set of options. They are very easy to use and it will not take long to make your modifications. The software's capabilities include batch renaming, which is also a simple task.

Cons

It would have been useful if PhotoTrim could convert images as well. If you are in a hurry to crop images, reduce their size or make other adjustments, PhotoTrim will help you perform these tasks fast and easy.
